This 1982 footage was taped from "Patok na Patok", a variety show on PTV-4 hosted by Ariel Ureta. UP Zoological Society members guested on the show to promote a fundraising activity, the premiere of the movie, "The Earthling." (Back in the 80's, student dance groups can actually guest on TV shows to plug their events.) My sister, Ate MaryRose was part of the UPZS dance group that's why we really HAD to tape it at home then using our top-loading, humongous Sony Betamax! [applause]
That's Tet Yuvienco, Helen Sabas, Mary Rose Alcaneses, Edwin Lagera, Danny Dimalanta and Rene Francia (mga kagalang-galang na doktor na po ngayon!). Actually, there's another segment of the show where they took part in the games. I'll post it some other time :)
Hope they don't kill me for uploading this for the whole world to see, hehe. Hey, it's rare, archival, genuine [gee-nu-wayn] 80's video :) 25 years old. Silver Jubilarian.

Galing ah. Vintage video captured. Ang payat ko pa.I just saw Helen in Manila Pen and she looks exactly the same,pati hairstyle. Payat pa rin. Danny Dimalanta (now Francis) cannot recognizable anymore compared to that video.

I am looking for a clip or videp of one of the groups in the Dance contest of Patok na Patok. How will I be able to get a copy? I just know the name of the group, and I think it was when the show moved to RPN9. I will be truly grateful if anyone can help me.
